PHOTOGRAPHY EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR 2017 - PEP
This is a program intended to develop each participant’s capacity to evaluate the image – theirs and the work of others. Image evaluation is a skill. It is based on a broad, comprehensive knowledge of the discipline of photography. To evaluate an image one must be a knowing person. One who is visually literate.
Photography is the parent discipline of mass communication. One cannot comprehend the image, celebrate its individual quality and character without the knowledge of what is the history, the ideological/philosophical structures, the competing and contested value systems borne of its history or the suite of knowledge that forms its art, craft and science.

Adam Williams APP AAIPP
A landscape photographer originally from Sydney but now residing at Crescent Head on the Mid North Coast of NSW in the beautiful Macleay Valley.
For as long as he can remember he has always had a creative interest. He once again found his passion for photography with the emergence of the digital cameras around the year 2000. Like so many others he found the ability to get instant feedback on the rear LCD a great way to learn via trial and error.
Specialising in photography education, including Photoshop education he has been running workshops since 2013, teaching 100's of students not only the skills and techniques to quickly improve their photography, but the confidence and knowledge to take their passion further.
